I would say it depends on the time of year someone hunts and where. If you hunt overa field you can see more than in the woods. Early season leaf cover can hide deer better as well. I only hunt in the woods and have seen as many as 13 at one time this year. Yesterday evening Ihad 4 bucks and a doe under my tree. On average though I would say I see 3-4 on a given morning or evening.
