It's not legal,but it's done routinely. Heck I turned in a guy with a feeder in a field that had three stands around it and he didn't get a ticket.
There's a house I go by on the way to where I hunt the other day the had about 70 Turkey in the yard and about 8 deer. I talked tothe DEC about it their answer we really can't do anything about it.
My opinions started when he denied specificallyfeeding the deer.

and see little difference between these "pets" and the ones raised behind high fenses - both are pathetic excuses for wild game and are primarily dependent on human handouts.
One difference, these deer aren't hunted.
