Not with a weapon it isn't. It's illegal to hunt outside of legak hunting hours.Try this and see what happens.Walk out of the woods after sundown and unload your gun hena DEC officer is standing there. Or load your gun before sunrise while one is standing there, you'll find out about the law.
I already tried to tell him that Charlie...........but as he said.....he "knows the law"
I guess he thinks that you can sit in a tree in the middle of January with a gun full of slugs and the DEC won't mind as long as you don't shoot anything
The only thing more surprising (and sad) then how many people that don't know the hunting laws..........is how many people that don't know the hunting laws but THINK they do.
