I recently purchased a used Savage model 110, 30.06.After I got it home I removed the scope and rings,the bases on this rifle are Weaver type but there are no screws holding them on.What holds these bases to the rifle?Is it drilled and tapped underneath?I have never seen this before and it really has me puzzled any help would be greatly appreciated.
