Sounds like a all day hunt would be a good idea for you. Pack a snack and get into your stand at least one hour before light and sit it out.

If you know this deer is in this area on a regular basis and you keep spooking him you need to get in there early and wait it out. Be still and quit.

Being in your stand all day may present a opportunity for you.
