If you got to watch deer interact as much as I do in my yard you would see that they are VERY touchy with their noses and mouths..........not uncommon at all for them to look like they are "kissing" Not feeding will do nothing to stop this sort of contact..........although I see where they are coming from.
Yep, I agree, but I think the issue is the Bait brought deer in from other area's. Which put a bunch deer in the same area. As you know they ate, touched, etc and now the TB is spreading. I saw some aerial pics in Northen MI of deer coming to feed stations it was amazing to see how many deer were there in one area. I think these large feed stations were the issue, and people putting out a ton of feed(corn, apples).
