Default RE: Which Bow To Buy

I have not shot the Equalizer but I'm sure it is a nice shooter. I would lean towards a Bowtech with the 06 cams. It was a pain to find the draw length I like with my 05 Defender. You have to change the entire cam on the 05 models requiring a bow press.

Have you shot the Tribute? That is probably the nicest bow I have ever shot IMPO. It is $100 more than the Allegiance but it may fit you better. It's not as fast but I think it is smoother with less hand shock. You didn't mention how tall you are but I'm guessing your not 6' with a 26" DL. Don't get me wrong, the Allegiance is a nice shooter also.

I have shot the Trykon and didn't think the draw was a smooth as the Bowtech's. It is a very nice bow but I didn't like the draw and it made a twang sound on release. It sounded like the new string silencers weren't doing their job. Others have said that their Trkon does not so maybe something was loose on the one I shot.

The Switchback is also a nice bow but it just didn't impress me as much as the Bowtechs or Hoyt and that is also just my personal opinion.

It is hard to make a decision with all of the nice, higher end bows available now. Anyway you choose, you can't go wrong if you pick the one that fits you the best.
