i don't see why some of you don't see the .410 as a good round. my buddy has taken several doe with his .410. in reality they have ran just as far as the ones hit with my 12 gage. yes placement is key, but if you hit a deer in the thoracic cavity with a .410 i would bet my left testicle it would bring the deer down within 100 yards easy.
