Default RE: String/cable stretch question

Lady Arwen,

It is a good idea to replace the cables and the string together if you do not have timing marks on your bow. The proper length factory spec. string cables should put the bow in time. I mark my bows without factory timing marks on the cam/wheel(s) where the limb passes over the cam/wheel(s). As a string or cable stretches you will see the timing marks move off where the limb passes over the cam/wheel(s). In order to put the bow back in time, it has to be put in a press and place turns in either the string or cables depending on the stretch to reposition the marks on the cam to the limb. Once you know where the proper timing marks are, you can replace the cables about every other time that you replace your string.

Aim Hard!
