RE: Old remington 11 value?

Wingbone, the more I thought about it the higher it began to seem. (Funny how that happens huh?) Looked around on gunbroker, gunsamerica and auctionarms...seems your 250 mark is right on for an 11 that is well used and in working condition. I'll try your twist test next time I go. I'll go in Tuesday and see if he'll move any from the $195. It'll definately be a project gun...but want to keep gun+stock/forearm (and finishing stock costs) well below 300. As far as new parts go, I know some A5 parts are interchangeable...is this true with the "wearing" parts of the action (the brass friction plate or whatever I read was likely to be worn from heavy use)?
