I also have an 04 Extreme VFT which I love. I am not one to trade bows just to be shooting the lastest but when I pulled the new Allegiance...........WOW!! The smooth pull cam was unbelieveable. I agree, I didn't like the pull on the 05'sbut the 06's are great. I also have shot the Tribute and like it because of the shorter length for hunting but it pulls alittle harder that the Allegiance.

MyExtreme is set at 65 lbs. with a 28 inch pull. We run it through a chrono and it shootsfaster that the Allegiance which was set at 60. The difference was only about 10fps. Also the Extreme did shoot harder. Could tell but how far is stuck the arrows into the Block.

If I trade, I will go with a 70 lb. Allegiance set at 65lbs. One other thing about the new 06's.............QUIET!!!! Good luck.
