The real value of the 7MM Mag is with the heavy bullets. Much less cartridges throw the 139ers easily. The 7MM Mag should use the 160-175 grain bullets.

That said a lot of folks use it for it's speed and the 139-154 grain bullets also work. If I was to use those I'd far prefer the 7-08.
