I would say if you can afford the bow and feel like it would be a productive switch then do it.
If you feel confident enough about hunting with the PSE, then do that.
But in any case, get fitted properly. I just bought my first bow and have yet to fire a single shot out of it simply because the pro shop I dealt with didn't feel it was necessary to properly fit me. An extra 2'' of draw length can make rolling the cams over pretty difficult. [:@] And wouldn't you know, the bow is draw length specific. No adjustment on the cams. Bummer! The draw weight is probably too much for me as well.
So the moral of the story, make sure you get the proper fit for the bow. If you like the Hoyt and can afford one go for it. If not, wait until you have the money buy theHoyt at a later date.
