OK All, I will have to start off by stating that I have only ever fired a BP rifle 3-4 times in my life.While I am a good shot it was when someone else loaded it and chose the load.

OK Here's why, Ifailed to get a dear during the early bow season and also duringregular gun season here in Ohio so I will be borrowing my Father inlaws TC Omega 50 Caliber for the late BP season. Herecieved it brand new last year for Christmas and has not even had it out of the box.

Where do I start??? [&:]

I need toselect a reliable projectile that is accurate to around 100-125 yards for dear hunting. And also what load do you all recommend for that? Size of projectile and amount of powder / propellant.
