Good luck ![/align][/align]Massachusetts Bill Would Lift Sunday Hunting Ban[/align]BOSTON, MA-A proposal currently before the Massachusetts legislature would allow Sunday hunting statewide.[/align]House Bill 4517, sponsored by Democratic Rep. Anne Gobi, would repeal the state's ban on Sunday hunting. The bill was introduced in late November and is currently awaiting action in the state's Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security.[/align]Thirty-nine states currently allow Sunday hunting, while 11 states prohibit or heavily restrict it. Supporters say Sunday hunting provides an additional day in the field, which can be a great opportunity for sportsmen and sportswomen who work during the week.[/align]Massachusetts sportsmen should contact their state representatives and encourage them to support HB 4517.
