That is what I use and I like them. They suposedly burn a bit hotter but I like them because they are bigger and easier to manipulate. They are much easier to put on and take off for me. Paul
I agree that musket caps are a lot easier to handle. This is especially significant for hunters with cold numb fingers!

I also agree that they do NOT give better ignition than CCI No. 11 Mag. caps!

I have a nipple adapter device that uses small rifle primers (Fusil V), and one that allows me to use No. 209 shotgun primers on a sidelock rifle. I find the 209's (Win.) to be the hottest of all, as they will put a visible flash all the way out the muzzle of the rifles I have used it on.

Some claim that a LR magnum primer is hotter than a 209. May be,but I'd have to see this to believe it.
