Screw that IfI shot a deer that appeared to be sick, the last thingI want to do is get a bunch of wardens walking around on my 300 acres killing off all the deer. Id shoot the thing and drag it into one of our pits and let it rot and not say a damned thing to anyone.
and then other animals eat it and the cycle continues........if you are thinking along those lines bury or burn it.
