I have to throw in another vote fro the 260 Remington. Look at the ballistics and they will speak for themselves. I have 2 daughters and my wife have all taken deer with it. My youngest was 10 when she got hers. She is small framed and had no problem with the recoil. You would really be missing out if you didn't give this caliber a hard look.
