Default RE: black squirrels

Now this isn't going to help you out hunting in PA but I know the place to go for black squirrels.I go to Michigan. Black squirrels up there are just as common as fox and gray squirrels down here. The farther north you go, the more you see. I've killed a lot of black phase squirrels. Its weird when you only see grays and foxes in Kentucky, but while hunting Michigan, you see all three. A black squirrel stands out very good in the open, like on a logging trail, but once he slips in the woods, it's like they vanish. The black color is more concealing than red or grey. They like to hang out in pine trees too. This year, I got 4 black squirrels in Michigan. Last year I got 6. There beautiful. I know we have them in Kentucky, but their in the city. All I need to finish my so called grand slam for squirrels is a black phase fox squirrel, albino, and pie bald. I've got shot a black phase gray. Ive seen the black foxes but havent been lcky enough to get one yet. I also need the little red squirrel. If I had a scanner Id show you what they look like. Sorry I aint of no help.
