Yes it does but it is not a problem, the plastic is soooo thin. You should check the cup of the hammer if you shoot severalrounds in progression... But when you are using this you might only shoot the gun 1-2 maybe 3 times and you will be in the cleaning mode.

The wrap melts back to itself - it does not melt and drip.
