I need your help. As many know I have been on this forum for a while, much longer than 2003. I have always been a die hard Mathews guy. Well, recently a budy of mine bought an 2005 Alliegence and he loves it. He works as a biologist, but he also helps out at a shop in his area just to keep up with all the new goodies. He e-mailed recently urging me to go shoot a Tribute. I stopped by my local shop today that has always taken good care of me, with the intent of shooting one, only to find out they no longer carry Bowtech, just Mathews and PSE. The owner, who I consider a friend, tried to get me to shoot the Switchback XT because he thinks very highly of it. I chose not to because I am not going to change bows until our season is over in Jan. I really have the urge to try something new and I really wanted to shoot the Bowtech. My dilema is this; is the Tribute really so nice of a bow that I should go to a different shop, farther away, and shoot one? Or should I stick with Mathews and go shoot the XT and trade in my LX? Should I consider switching to the dark side or be happy not knowing what I am missing?
