Have to agree with the 25-06 or 243 ideas. I have used both for deer and groundhogs. My favorite being the 243. With a 75 grain Hornady V-Max it does nasty thing to a chuck. Stuff a 95 grain Nolser Partition in it and it becomes a very good deer cartridge.

Course, being a gun nut....I would opt for adding the .223 and a .243 to my arsenal.
