Default RE: Whisker Bisquit Accuracy

Isn't it funny.....

I have bought 3 WB's for all three bows my son and I own over the last year. THE....THE ONLY reason I switched to a drop-away rest is because of the noise. I worked REAL hard and got my stand to within 9 yds of an active scrape. The 3rd buck to work that scrape one morning was the one I wanted. It was SO quiet out there....that he could hear the arrow being drug across the bristles. I couldn't get drawn back.....and had to let him walk (I posted a thread on this about a month ago). I went to the archery shop and tried 2 other WB's on consignment bows, there. Same issue.

I think the WB is an awesome rest.....and my son still has it on his bow (and will have it on the bow he's getting for Christmas (BTW....Merry Christmas, everyone). I, however, switched to the drop-away type (Brand isn't important)....and it's 100% stealth.

Just my take. If you think the WB is quiet.....you're either not as close as I was.....or you haven't compared it with a drop-away.
