I have a #12 lem grinder and can use the 1/2" tube and get a real small stick of sasuage. you just have to run you caseings real fast,I mean you have to pull the caseings off the tube faster while grinding the meat.
Try it a few times and you will see how to do it.if you hold the caseings on the tube you can make a real big link of sasuage.it will streach reall big just befor it burst.

so pull fast = smaller ones ; hold it and pull reall slow = bigger ones.

you will learn how fast or slow to pull. good luck.
