RE: Deer Cart?
Hey Danny, i went hunting with my cousin and a few of his freinds this year. I shot a big doe about a mile from the truck. We had radios and i was tracking the deer, my cousin came up to give me a hand. By the time i gutted the deer and got my rope on him and started dragging, Ihad only dragged that deer about 100yrds and stopped 4 times for breaks.my cousins freinds came up with a cart. I laughed at them a little and they asked what was so funny. They put the cart together and i helped get the deer on the cart. after i got the deer on the cart and a mile from the road, i never had to stop for a break once. It was a lot easier than dragging. I would say if your health requires you need to take it easier or you just want to make it easier on yourself then that is the way to go. We all know how we feel when we drag 1 deer out of the woods, well how would you feel if you shot 2 and had to go back in to drag another? The cart i used would easily carry 2 deer at 1 time. I still don't think i will run out and buy me a cart this year, but i do think i will get 1 for next year. In my opinion it will be money well spent. You may not need it every time but i was glad my cousins freinds brung it up to me on this day.
