I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the 8mm hronady bullets probably aren't going to work too well in Your S-M. The 8x56r steyr mannlichers have a groove diameter of .329" and the 8mm hornady bullets are only .323" in diameter. Even worse is that the few companies that make .329" bullets charge an arm and a leg for them. Here's a website on this topic that explains some options your have with this rifle for reloading.
