When I buy a bolt action repeater,I expect to be able to cycle the bolt quicklywithout having to take the rifle from my shoulder.This was not possible with the two 710s that I have fired.
I hate to, but I gotta ask, stubblejumper: If quick follow-up shots are critical to your hunting needs, why would you not get a semi-auto. Normally after I shoot, I pull the gun down, look to see "what's happening" and then, if necessary, cycle the bolt and take another shot. Haven't encountered a situation where I need to rapid-fire my bolt gun - at least not yet.
