RE: Rem 710 7mm stock?
Oh, mossy33oak, believe me, I know there are those - quite a large number - who think the 710 should be bypassed for more expensive options, but I didn't find that one could spend "just a little more" to step up. The lowest priced 700 model was still another $100 more than the 710 and that's without a scope, so tack on another $50 minimum for a scope and I've got a rifle in the $500+ range.
I'm not adverse to spending money on a firearm as I've put out $600 for a semi-auto shotgun recently, but it's a matter of whether or not I'll get the use of a firearm to justify paying extra $$$ for one, especially when that extra money will buy benefits of little to no value to me.
