have any of you used remington driLube in the barrels of your ML's is this a good thing to put in there after you clean them??seems like it would be ideal for a the BP guns.. any info on the product would be great..
The step after cleaning is the final stage before rifle storage. That's when the vast majority of ML owners use a good gun oil instead of lubes that do not displace moisture.

Unless you are the perfect gun cleaner in this world, we all make cleaning mistakes at least once in our lives. A good gun oil allows you this mistake without rust occuring. A lube DOES NOT allow for cleaning mistakes that keep traces of moisture hidden in your rifling.

If you bought a lube for ML-ing, lube your bullets, nipple, screws & breechplugwith it (or)throw it in the garbage.Yes.... there are a couple of posters here with fabulous success using stuff like Bore Butter. They are either perfect at cleaning a ML (or) a rusty bore awaits them at a future date of time.
