No, mobowhuntr, it would not. It requires the attachment of a rope which remains on the tree. Unless you used the climber on the same few trees over and over again it would be impractical.

Of course, if you use your climber you could use your safety harness all the way up and down. I say that presuming that you have a harness similar to the one provided by Summit.
