RE: .30/06 ammunition favorites!?
I've got an Winchester M70 .30-06 that I've had for 25 years and I've tried a bunch of different loads ... the one that shoots the best out of mine is the Winchester Supreme Ballistic Tip 168gr. It'll consistently shoot into less than 1" at 100yds (5 shot groups) and they've put every deer I've shot with 'em down in their tracks. I've shot deer as close as 10 steps and as far as 347 yds with this load, and it's never let me down.
