RE: Passthru
Boris,
i had one experience with a passthru that left only a slight hint that the broadhead went thru the deer. The deer was about 27 yds away and i was hunting from the ground.I took the shot(perfectly broadside)and saw the arrow strike the side of the chest--the arrow went thru and bounced off of a tree on the other side of the deer.I found the arrow laying on the ground and looked it over carefully--I could barely make out anything on the arrow at all. After inspection i noticed the only thing that had any evidence on it was the broadhead--nothing on the shaft or fletching. As bizarre as it sounds it really did happen and the only way i could notice the broadhead was the fact that my arrow didn't go into the ground.I guess stranger things have happened.
