Default RE: Radio Chatter

Our group uses them as well for the basics...no assistance in taking game. We have been using them since the late '90s. Back then we were the only ones in our area. Then about 4 or 5 years ago it seems that everybody had one and they all used it..legally or illegally. I actually enjoyed leaving my unit on scan just to hear what else was going on in our area. Nowadays it seems everyone else has caught on to the scanning trick and now you almost never hear anyone on the radios anymore though I still see alot of guys with them in their hands or strapped to their jacket.

It is an interesting way to pass them time on stand while not really taking away from your ability to keep an eye out for game.
