Default RE: Is There a Climbing Tree Stand for larger trees??

I understand that the chains on API stands are really made for farm equipment, I think combines but not sure. If you get one and take the chain to a tractor supply place (or just read the number stamped on the links), you can get the same chain in bulkand cut towhatever size you need. The stand comes with ~6 foot sections, but if you used larger ones, you could use your stand on larger trees. If you remove the bushings in the square tubing of the stand and use vinyl tubing in place of the shrink wrap (more durable and lasts much longer than the original stuff) you can get a20-25 foot section at home depot for $5 that you could use for the larger chains.
