I do believe you have covered the hog quiet well, however let me add a couple more. I believe a group of hogsis called a sounder. Also, I have noticed on several occasions, when two boars fight, they will most likely run at each other then hit broad side, head to tail, then raking upward with their tusk trying to cut the others ham area. Also, in preparing for the fight they will pull up palmettos, small trees and bushes, paw the ground like a raging bull, and I have seen them actually foaming at the mouth like a mad dog. A fight is a sight to behold, and from a very safe position I might add.
