In my opinion the Model 70 trigger is one of the best on the market. Adjustment is very easy - - a spring with a jack screws through it and two locking nuts.

If you know what you are doing adjusting it is easy... but I would be very leery of setting it to "hair trigger" lightness, unless all I ever did with the rifle was bench shooting.

A trigger pull guage would be a very good thing to have if you do much of this.
