I shoot 300 grain .458 (45-70) Nosler Partitions at elk, but I think the 250/260 grain bullet is the best all-around bullet for the 50 cal there is. Less drop - more energy down range - more velocity

I am currently working with the Speer Gold Dot 250 grain HP - it's accuracy is great and if what I read nad what I have been told are accurate it could be a great deer game bullet...
