Default RE: corn

I have planted all kinds of other stuff, rye, wheat, clovers, brassicas, but not corn.

I have one 2 acre field that is in its 3rd year of develpment. It is roughly 600x120(not quite 2 Acres). My soil ranges from half-way decent to pretty bad, but I have been continually dumping lime per soil recommendations and have grown rye, clover, and brassicas pretty successfully now for 2 years. What ph level is needed?, and is 2 acres really enough-I have 4 other acres of food plots and a deer population of around 20 deer per square mile.

This plot is in the middle of a deer migration trail, so a tall plant like corn would be great-would soybeans be better or easier to plant?
