I agree with the younger deer, especially in the north. When a hard winter hits, what are the first deer to go? The run down bucks, and the young deer. Why not shoot the mature does, when they are going to keep producing fawns, and while the younger deer will have the greatest chance of perishing in a long winter. Just my opinion though.
