Funny you would mention the OBR. The latest "rumor" floating around about this buck is that the guy in the pic(Mark Martin's twin) was actually the guy who shot this buck, not his son as was first believed. Only problem with that is, this guy supposedly had already taken a buck this year. He checked the deer in under his sons name and is being quiet becuase he doesnt want the publicity or the trouble with the law. I had first heard the son "didnt have time to check in the deer". Take it for what its worth. I got the impression this guy was a gun hunter only, and i believe this deer was taken opening morning, so unless he shot the smaller buck the same morning as this beauty im not sure when he would have took the other deer. We'll see what happens i guess.
