I have four different Thompson Center .54 calibers and all of them shoot roundball excellent. They vary in loads from 80 grains to 100 grains of Goex. If you want to have fun, take that rifle and load 40-50 grains of Goex 2f and a roundball. You can plink all afternoon and actually one of my Renegades is super accurate with that light load. I bunny hunt in the winter sometimes with it. Although, now that I have a smoothbore, that is not the case this winter.
