Default RE: Gametrack Silvertip Performance Photos

Thanks for posts guys. I appreciate them. I would like to answer each one individually though and I would also like to point out that 5shot has just published the results of his testing with the Silvertips. I believe they are on the Equipment Review forum though.

Buckfevr,

Yep, a little bit of carefully placed C4 can do wonders....

JustinL,

Thank you. I don't have the exact figures on the blades in question but I would be willing to wager that 5shot included that info in his report.

Straightarrow,

Good point. But one also has to look at from the perspective that since this was what I would call a "less than perfect shot" both in terms of placement and typical broadhead performance then it can't probably get much worse and yet the deer still died within a few feet of where it was originally shot. I do agree though that the possibility still exists that the head could malfunction.

Jeff,

No, I guess he doesn't, but then again we did just wake him up from a long nap so the fact that he isn't crying profusely in the picture does mean he was somewhat enthused...

I had always had good success when I used Muzzys so I can't really say anything negative about them. I can say that I will be very interested to see what a typical wound would look like from those Silvertips.

Kaos,

I do plan on giving them a second chance. I realize this experience was probably more the exception than the rule. I am wondering though which one of the Rocket heads you are comparing these with though? Miniblaster maybe?

James Vee,

Yes, that is a Packers' shirt and my only explanation is that my wife is a big fan of Brett Favre.....I never said her taste in men was perfect....

DaveC,

Yes, that they are...but then again probably so are Gametracker Carbon Express I had them screwed into.... I have a variety of heads that I use on a regular basis though so who knows what you will see pictures of next.

Thank you for the compliment. My wife is 31 years old and I am around that age though I have never actually divulged my real age anywhere on the internet nor have many pictures featured my visage....

445,

Thanks...and, see above post...

WV,

Thank you. I do have the Naildrivers in my top 4 broadheads that I usually carry along with Steelheads, Hammerheads and Silvertips. I am probably going to try the Hammerheads next and finish up with the Naildrivers.

6ptsika,

I do try various pieces of equipment so you can be sure that various American companies have received my money as well. But then again I do drive a Kia....

Sswpriz,

Thank you, but you are wrong....I am a Chargers fan.....hence the name of my dog....(J.S. Charger)
