Default RE: How do you load a deer in the truck yourself?

My truck has slots in the sidewalls to cordon off an area of the bed. I use a 2x6 for this purpose by putting the board in those slots, that's what there there for. Just lower the gate take the 2x6 and lay it on the ground, put the deer on the 2x6 and lift one end to rest on the back of the truck then lift the other end and slide the whole thing into the truck. Now the longer the 2x6 the more leverage you will have when lifting it but I use thisboard in those slots so it's only as long as the bed is wide.
