This whole discussion made me think of a couple guys I know getting acaribou into the back of a 70s eraBronco - through the back window because the tail gate wouldn't drop. There is NO graceful way of doing this and a comealong won't help.
My hunting truck is an 83 full size Bronco (and the tailgate works by the way). If I were to dump a big deer in the back with a bad tailgate, I believe the easy part would be getting the deer in.
