Scope Question
I recently mounted a Tasco Pronghorn to my ruger 10/22. This was my first attempt at mounting a scope and I didn't have a bore sighter, but I figured that I would give it a try. Long story short I have been trying to adjust the scope and it shoots about 4" left at 50 yards no matter how much I adjust the windage to the right. Is it possible that I have pegged the windage adjustment out to the right? If so any idea how many turns I should go back to the left to get to a neutral position. I called Tasco to try and get this information, but the person I talked to was unable to help me. I am going to put a bull barrel on the gun and a new synthetic stock after Christmas. Should I just wait, do those things and then take it to a professional and admit defeat?
