i have an Ithaca slug gun. it's light, short and fast to bring up to the shoulder. but it KICKS like a mule and I'm not very good with it. i just put a rifled barrel on my Mossberg 835 turkey gunand slapped a recoil pad over the stock. i not only can shoot under 2" groups at 100 yards but i can follow through with my shots which is nice. it is a little heavier and longer than the Ithaca but it is 10x more pleasurable to shoot even with 3" mags. boys i think I'm in love!
