So I just stumbled into a smoking deal on an 05' Allegiance that I couldn't pass up, and even though I wasn't looking for another short ATA speed bow, I picked it up anyhow. I got it cheap enough that if I don't like it more than my Patriot, I can easily sell it to get my money back.

I am thoroughly satisfied with my Patriot for what I was intending on using it for next year, I was planning on using it for primarily hunting and maybe setting it up as a backup bow for 3D next year. My primary bow for the upcoming indoor/3D season is an 06' black marble constitution that is on order.

My main question is, the guys that traded their Patriot's in for Allegiance's, is the Allegiance really all that different, or better or worse for primarily hunting and occasional 3D? I know it's a bit faster, but this doesn't really matter to me, the Patriot is plenty fast.
