yes i know to buy the reciever of other rifles you gota do the paper work beacause they are what make the gun fire......and your right...i know buying a 10/22 reciever is just about as much as a gun.....might as well just buy a gun and get a barrel and an extra stock to have.....im really considering an encore if i buy another rifle this summer......i never see any used?? are theyjust that dang good noone sells them?lol.....seriously.....can i find a used rifle? how much do they run new in say....a typical deer rifle caliber with a wood stock and blued metal?? TC says they shoot great out of the box..do they? hows the trigger?? thanx alot....
