Sure takes a lot to hold back on a buck like that. Even if you see a 160+ class buck ever night, IMO taking a buck like this is still good enough, unless you have lots and lots of huting time. Back in HS when I had a lot of hunting time I passed on a 150 class non-typical only to get him a couple weeks later with the rifle at the end of season. But nowadays since I have very limited time to hunt, any mature buck is good for me.

I have a buddy that won't shoot anything under 160 class, and even to this day, he hasn't shot anything under it. Do I think he's crazy when I watch him pass on 150 class bucks??.. no, he just goes out the next day and gets a bigger one. Because he has the spot. It's all up to you. What kind of camera do you have that'll allow you get get a few pics of him while he's only feet from your stand, without hearing you? j/w Good pics, thanks for sharing.
