Sounds like the rut is in full swing! Mature bucks tend to stay with a doe in heat for 2 or 3 days until she is ready to breed. He will not leave her until he breeds her then will go looking for the next one. He may stop by to freshen a scrape then or come across another doe in heat. Hunting scrapes right now is probably not the most productive way to hunt bucks. Wait a few weeks until the right is winding down and he may start paying more attention to the scrapes again as fewer and fewer does are available. Good luck!
